Cowboys lose a Statement game

That game was horrible.
No Tyron Smith on the offensive line.
Frank Clark 4 sacks.
No time for Dak to get rid of the football. No Amari Cooper.
CeeDee Lamb out at halftime with a concussion. I would be stunned if he played vs the Las Vegas Raiders on Thanksgiving. He or Cooper will both be out for this game.
Dak threw a couple of interceptions. One at the end of the half. One at the end of the game. Cowboys lose by ten, 19 to 9.
There were a couple of pass interference calls missed by the referees, that could have taken Dallas into first and goal territory.
Happy Thanksgiving. Go Cowboys! Enjoy the Turkey!

Cowboys Run into a Buzzsaw

Were the Dallas Cowboys playing Providence Steam Rollers? Because that accurately describes what happened. The Denver Broncos lose their best player, LB Von Miller via trade. And they go on the road and drop 30 unanswered points!
Dak Precott had perhaps the worst game of his career. The Coaching Staff and their refusal to try the Field Goal early on was mindboggingly stupid. A 30-16 final could have been closer, even as close as seven points if they kick the Field Goal!

The defense could not stop anybody either. A 30-16 final score. A couple of touchdowns and two point conversions in garbage time.

On to Atlanta!

Thoughts on the end of the game

I did not have a lot of faith in Cooper Rush to back up Dak Prescott once it was announced Dak was out for the game, and through one half I was right.

Whatever Mike McCarthy said to his team at halftime must have worked, because Rush threw a touchdown pass to begin the third quarter.

Vikings clock management was absolutely atrocious! Their refusal to take their final time out only to spike the ball with one second left.  Then the inability to get out of bounds at the end was just as bad if not worse.

Greg Zeuerlein did not make all of his field goals, but he made the ones he needed to to win the game.
 20 to 16 Cowboys win!
