So, the first round of the NFL Draft was held on Thursday and here are some observations:
JADEVEON CLOWNEY goes to the Houston Texans and forms potentially a pass rush with J.J. Watt that could keep the rest of the AFC South up at night. Watch out Andrew Luck!
BLAKE BORTLES goes from Florida to play College Football to play in Florida for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Bortles put on a show against Baylor, and his stock kept rising since then.
TEDDY BRIDGEWATER slipped all the way to almost the bottom of the first round, where he was picked up by the Minnesota Vikings. So I guess this means the Vikings are no longer Pondering their Quarterback future.
JOHNNY MANZIEL will now be the next Cleveland Browns Quarterback to save their team. First it was Tim Couch, then Jeff Garcia, then Brady Quinn, then Colt McCoy, and now, Manziel. Good luck Johnny Football!
DEREK CARR will not be drafted by the Houston Texans after all like I was hoping. The Raiders picked him up in the second round. David Carr would have been a good QB if he would have had a good offensive line around him in Houston. Let's hope Derek doesn't get subjected to the same fate.
