Will Lebron James Stay Or Go?
Check It Out! James Flora shares his thoughts on the LeBron Sweepstakes.
Lebron James led his team to the most wins in the league again. He won the MVP again. And he exited the playoffs earlier than expected again.
This is not the repeat he wanted.
So now what? Does he stay? Does he go?
These are just a few of the questions every NBA fan is asking. More importantly, these are questions Lebron must answer.
Obviously, the Cavs want to keep Lebron. So what do they do after another disappointing season? They fire their head coach, Mike Brown, after back to back seasons of 60 wins. This move brings up another question. Who are they going to get to replace him? The rumor mill is already abuzz. Phil Jackson's name has come up. Although it would be amazing to see Phil team up with Lebron, it doesn't seem realistic, especially if the Lakers repeat. However, if there's any chance he'll leave LA, the Cavs will jump on it.
From the outside looking in, we know Lebron is loyal so the Cavs have home court advantage, if that means anything, and they can offer him the most money. Hopefully, they can keep him for a few more years.
Yet the bright lights and the big city are calling his name. The best basketball player in the world playing in the biggest city in the world? That's hard to pass up.
There's a lot to consider and weigh for Lebron. A lot of people are going to be happy and sad whatever he decides.
