The Houston Astros Continue To Do The Wrong Things
The Houston Astros fired manager Cecil Cooper with thirteen games left in the season. I don't understand why they didn't wait until after the season to make this move. The Astros are an old team, with old players like Lance Berkman and Roy Oswalt who are past their prime.
The Houston Astros could use a complete rebuilding. I do not think their owner, Drayton McLane, would allow that.
Perhaps Jeff Bagwell and Craig Biggio will return to the Astros with some kind of coaching job! I really would like to see "The Killer B's" with something more than a restaurant at Minute Maid Park.
