Why The Lack Of Attention For Manny's 500th Homerun?

Click On The Video Below To See Manny Ramirez's 500th Career Homerun. Hurry! It's only a matter of time before MLB Advanced Media will file a copyright claim and take the video down!

On Sunday May 31st, Manny Ramirez finally hit his 500th career homerun. He hit on a first pitch fastball from Chad Bradford. Manny Ramirez joins Ted Williams as the Only Red Sox with 500 Career Homeruns.

Manny hit another one to add to his homerun total. Manny now has 501 career homeruns.

I really wish there would be more attention for Manny's Milestone. Many don't like the way he plays, but I just call it "Manny Being Manny."

I know that Rafael Palmeiro, Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa, and Barry Bonds will, to many fans, have asterisks next to their name, and whether or not they were juicing or not is debatable and will be debatable for years. Manny's always had a lot of power, and he has to have a lot of power, as he routinely hits balls over that 37 foot tall "Green Monster" at Fenway Park.

Congratulations to Manny Ramirez for hitting his 500th career homerun.
