Cleveland was electric as Game Three of the NBA Finals got under way. It was back and fourth as both teams traded the lead, as Cleveland had a two point lead at the end of the first quarter. However, the Spurs came back strong, as Tony Parker put in a layup at the buzzer to give the Spurs a 40-38 lead at halftime. The third quarter continued to have both teams trading buckets and the lead, but the Spurs fought back to lead at the end of the third quarter. In the fourth, the Spurs had a two point lead increased to five points as Tony Parker knocked in a huge three pointer. Manu Ginobili banged in a freethrow to make it a three point lead with 5.5 seconds remaining. LeBron James tried a three pointer, but it did not fall. LeBron had some words for the officials, claiming that he was fouled in the act of shooting. If the officials had ruled that LeBron was fouled in the act of shooting, he would have had three freethrows, and a chance to tie the game. But the score stands at 75-72 Spurs. The Spurs have a 3-0 lead in this series and can sweep the Cavaliers on Thursday in Cleveland.
