(NBA) Warriors and Jazz advance: Spurs win game 1

The Golden State Warriors pulled off one of the biggest upsets in NBA History, as they defeated the Dallas Mavericks at home in Oakland. Back to my earlier blog post, the two things I said, "The warrors are a different team at home" and "Contain Dirk, and your chances to win incraese." came true. The Warriors fed off the energy of that home crowd, and refused to let the Mavericks take them to Dallas to play the next game.

Tracy McGrady said "If we do not win this series, it is on me." Normally, star athletes try to pass the buck and say "Don't blame me." T-Mac does the exact opposite, and the Rockets hope to advance to the playoffs next year, although there are many questions that have yet to be answered. The Jazz eliminated the Rockets in Game Seven.

The San Antonio Spurs, the only Texas team remaining in the postseason, won an unbelievable game 1 against the Phoenix Suns, with both teams putting up over 100 points in a good, old fashioned shootout, as the Spurs did not put it away until the very end.

Game Two is Saturday in San Antonio.
