The New York Yankees are currently beating down the Texas Rangers. Yankee Phenom pitcher Phillip Hughes, called by many the Future Ace of the Yankees, had a no hitter through seven innings before leaving the game with a hamstring injury, and the Yankees lead the Rangers by the score of nine to one.
Alfonso Soriano played in Yankee pinstripes for three years, and will be playing in Cubbie Pinstripes for the next seven years. Soriano hit his first homerun of the season to give the Cubs an early 1-0 lead. Also homering for the Cubs, former New York Met Cliff Floyd, and former Minnesota Twin Jacque Jones, and the Cubs have a narrow 6-5 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning, as this game is currently in a rain delay.
