(NFL) David Carr: Out of Houston?
The Houston Texans could seriously be considering getting rid of David Carr if Jake Plummer decides to come to Houston. This wiuld be a stupid move on their part. They have not given David Carr a whole lot of tools to work with. They draft Andre Johnson in 2004. two years later, they sign Eric Moulds. Yeaterday, they released Eric Mould, putting Houston right back to where they were during the 2004-2006 season, 4- 12 and 2-14. Getting rid of David Carr is not going to solve anything. It will only confirm my belief that Texans management doesen't they can with they have now. They shouldn't feel bad. They are in the AFC South, the same division as the Super Bowl Champion Indianapolis Colts. Blowing up the team is not going to help them. The Minnesota Vikings have been named as one of the teams interested in acquiring David Carr. David Carr would actually have a line (the Vikings have Pro Bowl lineman Steve Hutchinson) but mediocre recievers. I really hope they don't get rid of Carr and that the releasing of Moulds means Houston will go after another reciever either in the Free Agency market or in the Draft.
